Gateway Worship Centre Community Shockwave Prayer Blitz
“To be part of a spiritual revolution that changes society.”
This is a call to pray for all the children in our Elementary schools, High Schools, up to University and College, that we know from our community/ communities here in Muskoka.
When is this happening?
Weekly from October 28th for 1 year on Tuesday mornings from sun-up to lunchtime. You are called to pray wherever you are, for a school in your neighborhood. We invite all parents, grand-parents , aunts, uncles and even friends of the family to join all of us in praying for the school where children you know attend.
We encourage you to take a picture of the school and pin it on your homepage of your phone or on your refrigerator at home as a constant reminder.
What to pray?
There are so many needs that require prayer, therefore we have put together a guide of prayer points for you to follow and add to as the Holy Spirit directs you on those Tuesday mornings of the Prayer Blitz.
Prayer Points:
WE PRAY for a new curriculum that teaches our children to think critically and creatively.
WE PRAY for minds that question, explore, and go beyond surface-level learning.
WE PRAY for resilience in every child — the strength to persevere and not give up, even when the path is difficult.
WE PRAY that this next generation will grow into bold thinkers, compassionate problem-solvers, and resilient leaders
WE PRAY that parents would be awakened — stirred with boldness and conviction to rise up and take their rightful place in raising their children and that they would have the wisdom and courage to set healthy boundaries around screen time in their homes.
WE PRAY that both young and old would have life-changing encounters with Jesus, and that students across the nation would come to know Him deeply

WE PRAY that all youth, region and country wide, would receive a deep revelation that “less is more,” choosing simplicity over excess and Christ over culture.
WE PRAY that intercessors would rise up and adopt specific schools to cover in prayer.
WE PRAY that grandparents would hear Your voice and rise as intercessors.
Awaken them; break the spirit of slumber.
WE DECREE an awakening of a prayer army across generations, standing in the gap for families in the Muskoka region and beyond.
WE PRAY that teachers would value children more than the curriculum, prioritizing their hearts, growth, and well-being. May the children sense this shift and be nurtured. (Matt 19:14)
WE PRAY that the eyes of teachers would be filled with light — that they may see each child with God’s perspective, full of purpose and potential. (Matt 6:22)
WE PRAY that You would raise up intercessors to adopt specific schools in prayer, and position Spirit-filled believers—teachers, janitors, and others—as undercover intercessors in strategic places across schools in Muskoka and beyond, praying effectively and fervently on the ground.
LET a mantle of intercession fall on the hearts of many, and may the atmosphere in our schools be shifted by the power of united, persistent prayer.
